Ganesh and his family came to the United States in August of 2011. He had to flee Bhutan because of political reasons and religious persecution and went to a Refugee camp in Nepal for 19 years. In 19 years, a non-refugee would of had the opportunity to work towards achieving his/her goals. However, Ganesh was a refugee who had nothing except a hope for a better life. Unfortunately, many areas of the world foster political instability and persecution, and anyone could become a refugee like Ganesh. Now, we would like you step into Ganesh’s shoes. Imagine yourself being persecuted from your own home country and being forced to flee to a foreign country such as the U.S.

In this long time, a normal person may have an opportunity to work hard and achieve his ambition. However, Ganesh was just a refugee who had nothing except a hope for a better life. Everyone may have the possibility to become Ganesh. If you live in a country he lived and said something true like him, you may have the same fate like him.
