Namaste Indo-Nepali Cuisine - The Story

We visited Namaste Indo-Nepali Cuisine to learn from Ramesh about his experience as one of the first Bhutanese-Nepali refugees in Columbus. Located at 1279 Morse Rd, Namaste Indo-Nepali Cuisine offers "Indian food with a Nepali twist." The next video in our series will focus specifically on Namaste Indo-Nepali Cuisine's delicious momo dumplings, and how they are made!

This video is part of our "Dumplings of the World" video series, leading up to the virtual 46th Annual International Taste of Columbus on August 27th. Throughout the summer, we are highlighting refugee and immigrant-owned restaurants around Columbus that serve dumplings, and telling their stories. This video series, as well as the virtual event, are in support of our Summer Giving campaign, an effort to raise $15,000 to support the critical services we provide to our refugee clients, including intensive case management, translation of health educational materials, distributing groceries, organizing online English as a Second Language (ESL) and job readiness courses, and remote mental health services.

We can't meet our goal without your help. Visit our fundraising page to learn more about the 46th Annual International Taste of Columbus, as well as how you can contribute.
