Join US Together in Our Mission: Volunteer

Volunteering is a rewarding experience on behalf of both the client and volunteer. Throughout the duration of their work, volunteers develop close relationships with our clients and families, gain cultural perspectives, and witness the process of refugee and immigrant integration firsthand. Volunteers routinely help clients overcome barriers to integration and work with them to reach their self-sufficiency goals through unique opportunities such as cultural integration activities and language proficiency practice.

Volunteer Opportunities

  • Move-in assistance (help transport donations/set up items to clients’ new home; set up beds/furniture; set up household items/place items in respective places)

  • Job Readiness / Financial Literacy Tutoring

  • Grocery Store Guide (transportation to store and back home with educational piece on how to use SNAP/WIC cards)
