Fashion by Ramazani

Fashion by Ramazani is a tailoring business run by Ramazani Songolo, a refugee from the Democratic Republic of Congo. He came to the United States in September 2020 to join his wife and two children, who have been living in the Cleveland area for the last nine years.

Ramazani has been tailoring for many years. Before coming to the United States, he sewed in Africa and is thrilled to continue sewing here in Cleveland. Ramazani finds working in general very fulfilling and likes making additional income from the sewing work he does.

Ramazani’s wife also enjoys sewing, and they worked as a team on some small African bags sold as part of US Together’s holiday boxes last year, which featured refugee artisans. Ramazani is also one of the featured entrepreneurs in US Together’s holiday boxes this year. The family is very grateful they can share their sewing skills with the greater Cleveland community and thankful that this can help them.
