Introducing #GivingTuesday!

It’s part of our daily routine—a routine we sometimes take for granted—to brush our teeth, wash our faces, and crawl under a warm blanket. However, the resources we need just to complete this basic practice are often unobtainable for a recently resettled refugee. Prior to arrival, refugees have lived in camps that often fail to provide adequate healthcare, education, and infrastructure. Once in the United States, refugees own little, if nothing at all. To get on their feet and take care of the everyday necessities of life, they need basic items such as toothpaste, toilet paper, shoes, and socks. This #GivingTuesday, we are asking you to help us provide these items, either in the form of donations or a monetary gift. A donation of just $15 can provide a new pair of shoes for a toddler, enough bars of soap for an entire family, or a box of diapers for a single mother.

Government funding for resettlement has been slashed in the past few years as migrants have become increasingly politicized. Your support can ensure the continuation of our comprehensive integration services. Take a stand for refugees and make a contribution on #GivingTuesday, or give the gift of donation today.
