Fire Safety and Civic Engagement

On June 11th, we hosted our first-ever Fire Safety class for a few of our refugee families. Taught by the Toledo Fire Department’s Safety Educator, our clients learned how to use and maintain smoke and carbon monoxide detectors, as well as other services that the Fire Department provides to the community. We strive to provide opportunities like this for our clients to learn about safety and security, and we are excited for this partnership to continue.
