Toledo Participates in Farmer's Market

On Wednesday, July 31st, US Together Toledo participated in its first farmers market in Bowling Green, Ohio.  Phillip and Nat, our AmeriCorp VISTA members, set up a table at the market in an effort to raise community awareness about US Together and the services it offers in Northwest Ohio.

The two also collected names and contact information from locals that are interested in volunteering and receiving our newsletters.  Many people had not heard of US Together in Toledo and were curious to learn more information and get involved!  The Toledo office plans to continue attending farmers markets in the area through this initiative.
