A Wonderful Exhibition Opening Night and an Amazing Artist Panel Coming This Friday!

US Together is incredibly grateful for our wonderful supporters who came out last Friday night, November 5th, to Making Home's Opening Night event! It was a beautiful evening in which our Cleveland community came together to celebrate our refugee and immigrant neighbors.

However, we are not done celebrating yet! This Friday, November 12th from 7pm-10pm, we will be hosting the second event in our Making Home exhibition series, an Artist panel followed by an Erhu musical performance!

Guests will enjoy a discussion about art, home, and more with the following four Cleveland Artists: Will Sanchez, Mariela Paz, Augusto Bordelois, and Claudio Orso. You can read more about these Artists background, by checking out our blogs, Meet the Artists, and Meet the Artists Part 2!

US Together is also honored to be hosting Janice Liu, who will be gracing the audience with an Erhu musical performance, as well as providing a brief introduction and history of the instrument itself.

Throughout the evening, guests may enjoy sweets from Tasty Space, a home-bakery founded by Hanna Yendrys, a refugee from Ukraine who came to Cleveland with her family in 2017. There will also be tea and coffee provided by Phoenix Coffee and Storehouse Tea!
