Save the Dates! US Together’s First-Annual Refugee and Immigrant Art Exhibition

It’s time to mark your calendars because US Together-Cleveland is incredibly excited to announce our first-annual refugee and immigrant art exhibition, titled Making Home! The exhibition will take place throughout the month of November at Current Gallery in 78th St. Studios (1300 W. 78th St, Cleveland).

We will be featuring 10 local refugee and immigrant Artists, as well as art from refugee and immigrant students who attend Thomas Jefferson Newcomers Academy. A few of the Artists featured will include:

Making Home will also present the community with three special events throughout the month, including an exhibition opening night on Friday, November 5th, an Artist panel discussion including a performance art show on Friday, November 12th, and a New American artisan market on Friday, November 19th. Each event will provide guests with amazing food, tea and coffee from local refugee and immigrant owned/operated businesses.

US Together’s art exhibition will introduce refugee and immigrant artists to the greater Cleveland community, and share the plethora of cultures that exist in Ohio, while raising funds to continue our work in the Cleveland refugee and immigrant communities.

We can’t wait to share this month of art and culture with you all!

Stay tuned for more information regarding the art exhibition and our refugee and immigrant-owned business coupon book!
