Introducing "At the Crossroads: Refugees and Immigrants Welcome"

We are incredibly excited to announce a new blog: At the Crossroads: Refugees and Immigrants Welcome. Over the coming months, the staff at US Together will be working closely with refugee and immigrant youth to counter hate speech and prejudice.

Through a series interviews, published as annotated transcripts in Crossroads, these young New Americans will tell the truth about why individual refugees and immigrants had to leave their countries, what it takes to adjust to a new environment, how they are contributing to the US, and what they are hoping for. Importantly, the blog will debunk common myths originated by hate and dangerous speech.

The project offers a unique opportunity for youth to voice their opinions, share ideas, and think together about what they can do to reduce hate speech and its impact.
