Registration is Now Open

Save the Date for US Together’s 2019 Refugee Integration Conference on October 9 and 10, 2019, at Ohio University-Dublin (6805 Bobcat Way, Dublin, OH 43016). This year’s theme is The Story of Our Journey.

Who Should Attend?

Along with our partners, we are offering insightful sessions on both days, covering a wide variety of topics of particular interest to:

  • Professionals

  • Service Providers

  • Local Media/Journalists

  • Anyone interested in engaging with the New American Community.

Day 2, organized in partnership with the Ohio Welcoming Initiatives Network, will focus on Ohio’s Global Talent: Preparing our Workforce for Our Future and will offer special insight to:

  • Apprenticeship Programs

  • Chambers of Commerce

  • Community Colleges and Technical Schools

  • Employers and Service Providers

  • Government Officials and Policymakers

  • Immigrants and Refugees

  • Workforce and Economic Development Practitioners.

Partnerships

International Migration Film Festival

This year, our Refugee Integration Conference will be partnering with the International Migration Film Festival held in the same venue on the evening of October 9th. The film festival will feature films focusing on migration: refugees, immigrants, displaced persons, economic migrants, asylum-seekers, and/or undocumented individuals.

We are seeking film submissions in multiple categories, ranging from 5 minutes to full-length feature films and documentaries. We invite students and professionals alike to submit films before midnight on September 20, 2019.
