Thank You for Being a Part of Celebrate Toledo!

Last Tuesday, the US Together Toledo office held our first ever virtual event, Celebrate Toledo! We want to thank everyone who attended and donated to our Celebrate Toledo November giving campaign. We raised $1,320 this past month and we are so grateful of the support from our community. We also want to also express our heartfelt gratitude to the musical artists who provided the musical contributions for the event. Thank you Michael Ibrahim and the Al Farah choir for being a part of this special night.  If you missed our livestream, or want to enjoy the excitement again, you can find it by clicking here.

As we move into the holiday season this month, there are still opportunities for you to support refugees and US Together in our mission. This month, if you donate $100 or more, we will send you an US Together recipe calendar with 13 recipes from around the globe thanks to the contributions of the community of US Together! You will find recipes from UST Toledo’s own Corine and Bashar as well. Corine and Bashar share recipes from Syria and Jordan, respectively, that are important to their families. Corine, the Director of Programs, and Bashar, the Director of the English as a Second Language program and the Employment program, work tirelessly to support refugees in our community. Let’s continue the work together as this year ends and a new one begins!

Support US Together’s mission and refugees in the Toledo area here.
