Holiday Gifts with Park Synagogue

In late 2021, US Together Cleveland partnered with Park Synagogue to organize the Support a New Neighbor program. This program pairs refugee families and individuals with families who wish to donate the specific items that the refugee family or individual requests.

When the program started, we worked with eight families from Park Synagogue and matched them with eight families that we resettled; however, due to the positive reception on Park Synagogue’s end and their strong desire to help the community, we soon expanded out to even more refugee families and individuals. In total, we provided gifts for fifteen families and six individuals. Thank you to Park Synagogue for their incredible generosity during the holiday season! Everyone who was involved had a major impact on refugees in Cleveland.
